A death by suicide is a profound shock for the family and those around them. In the days that follow, nobody should have to go back and clean the premises.
Our role is to take that part off your hands entirely. You do not need to be present during the work, nor to enter the property beforehand: we can arrange access with the landlord, the managing agent, a relative or the notary.
Documents, photographs, jewellery and personal effects found during sorting are always set aside and returned to you. Nothing is discarded without your agreement.

Why use a specialist company?
Beyond the emotional toll, improvised cleaning carries a real health risk. Blood and biological fluids can carry pathogens and soak deeply into porous materials.

What we strongly advise against
Cleaning it yourself, however well intentioned, carries two risks: an incomplete disinfection that leaves traces and odours resurfacing weeks later, and direct contact with biological waste without protection.
Household products are not designed for this, and bleach alone is not enough on a porous substrate.

Can we clean it ourselves?
We strongly advise against it. Beyond the emotional toll, the risk of incomplete disinfection and of exposure to biological waste is high. Use a specialist company with protective equipment, written protocols and access to approved DASRI waste channels.
How fast can you intervene?
We prioritise urgent cases and can usually schedule within 24 to 48 hours depending on location and access, and sooner in the Paris region. The estimate sets out timings, logistics and access arrangements.
Which products do you use?
Certified virucidal, bactericidal and fungicidal products suited to treating residual fluids, in line with applicable health standards. The choice depends on the substrate, how porous it is and how much time has passed.
When can you attend after the event?
As soon as the authorities have released the premises. While proceedings are under way or seals are in place, the property falls exclusively to the police or gendarmerie. Once authorisation is granted, we can attend very quickly.
Will neighbours notice?
We keep a low profile and use unmarked vehicles. The work is planned to reduce visibility and noise, and we adapt our hours to limit movement through communal areas.
Do I have to be present during the work?
No, and most families would rather not be. We can arrange access with the landlord, the managing agent, a relative or the notary, then send you the report and the personal effects set aside.
Do you provide documentation?
Yes. We provide before/after photographs, a written intervention report and waste consignment notes — the documents insurers and estate professionals generally require.
Who pays for the work?
Depending on the situation, the cost may fall to the estate, to the landlord, or be met in part by home insurance. We supply the estimate, dated photographs and intervention report to support those discussions.
Do odours and traces disappear?
In the large majority of cases, yes. Saturated porous materials — mattresses, carpets, flooring, partitions — are removed where they cannot be treated, then the volume is decontaminated. Some substrates have to be replaced for a lasting result.
