Extreme cleaning & house clearance in Issy-les-Moulineaux (92130 – Hauts-de-Seine), a vibrant city at the gates of Paris

Jean, a technician at Défi Clean, receives a phone call on Monday morning: a property manager reports a flat in a critical state in Issy-les-Moulineaux. The home is located in a small town in western Paris, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, not far from Issy–Val de Seine and Boulogne-Billancourt.

The day passes with clearance, disinfection and constant trips between the building and the underground parking. As the cubic metres of rubbish disappear, the small flat in Issy-les-Moulineaux slowly regains light and space. From the living-room window you can see the Eiffel Tower in the distance, a reminder that the town sits right next to Paris, well connected by metro, tram and cycle paths.

In the evening, the property manager comes back with a fresh printed plan of the neighbourhood to show the absent owner where the address “cleaned and secured” is located now. On the place at the foot of the building, passers-by enjoy the calm while a few cyclists on Velib bikes ride towards the Issy–Val de Seine bridge.

Jean packs up the equipment in the truck and takes one last look at the façade.
