Extreme cleaning prices Paris 12th: understand what each part of the quote covers

A cellar or lock-up does not enter an extreme cleaning quote simply because it accompanies the flat. Each annex needs its own description of access, permission, carrying and material condition. Défi Clean then records whether it is included or excluded. This page explains the criteria used to define the proposed work, without stating an amount, rate or lead time.

Reading the quote should let you identify the spaces concerned and the operations proposed in each one. A general reference to the address does not describe the whole assignment. Missing information is distinguished from accepted work, particularly when a basement remains closed. The same principle applies in reverse: examining a cellar does not establish the condition of the flat or what cleaning it will require.

  • Identify every space in the quote
  • Describe access and materials separately
  • Confirm permission for each proposed annex
  • Distinguish included tasks from explicit exclusions

Information needed to define each part of the proposal

For the main flat

  • Name the spaces requiring assessment
  • Describe the operations you want considered
  • Report materials already showing deterioration
  • Specify belongings that must remain

For the cellar or lock-up

  • Identify the annex without assuming inclusion
  • Confirm arrangements for its authorised opening
  • Describe carrying through the existing access
  • Report conditions observed within that space

For checking the proposed scope

  • Match tasks to each named area
  • Separate confirmed permissions from pending decisions
  • Identify the resources actually proposed
  • Read the exclusions and reservations together

The annex does not enter the quote by default

In the 12th, an enquiry about a flat may also mention an individual cellar, lock-up or basement storage unit. Developments around Picpus and Bel-Air, and newer buildings in Bercy and Reuilly, can associate these spaces with the home. Their presence at the same address does not include them in the quote. For the annex, we describe its separate access, the required authorisation, carrying conditions and observed state. A route by stairs or ramp, with no lift going down, cannot be inferred from the working arrangements upstairs. Available lighting and water are also identified where they affect the proposed tasks. These details support a distinct description before the annex is included for specified operations or expressly excluded. The proposal does not treat the general word property as permission to work in every storage space associated with the flat.

The distinction works both ways: a quote based only on the flat does not cover its cellar, while examining the cellar says nothing about the work needed upstairs. A damp basement may contain affected materials without the apartment having the same deterioration; the reverse also needs its own assessment. If the annex remains closed or unauthorised, its contents are not presented as examined. We never force a cellar door to complete the description. A later addition requires the operations, resources and limitations to be specified, followed by the corresponding agreement before work. This separates an accepted service from a need still awaiting assessment, without adding spaces by inference. The authorised person can therefore see which tasks belong to each area and which areas remain outside the proposed intervention.

From the description of the spaces to an agreed proposal

List the spaces

You identify the flat and any annexes that may be concerned, without treating their mention as approval for operations in those areas.

Describe the needs

Requested tasks are specified for each space so that proposed work can be distinguished from items and areas that should remain excluded.

Check the permissions

Access and decisions about belongings are reviewed with the authorised person, separately for the flat and every proposed annex.

Examine the resources

Carrying, available supplies and material condition are considered against the operations envisaged in each accessible part of the property.

Write the scope

Included spaces, selected tasks and their resources are described alongside exclusions and information that still needs clarification.

Confirm the agreement

The authorised person accepts the proposed work; adding a space or operation requires a defined change and permission before execution.

General criteria that determine the proposed operations

  • Spaces expressly concerned by the request
  • Permissions obtained for each area
  • Nature of the operations requested
  • Belongings requiring movement or removal
  • Condition of the accessible materials
  • Carrying and handling arrangements required
  • Resources needed for the proposed tasks
  • Exclusions and decisions awaiting clarification

The quote connects each operation to an identified space and defined working conditions. A cellar reported without confirmed access is not presented as included in cleaning the flat. Material limitations and hidden areas remain visible in the description. If information changes, the affected tasks are reviewed before agreement, without replacing a missing assessment with a result promise or assumed inclusion. An exclusion records a boundary rather than an operation already accepted.

Questions about reading the scope of an extreme cleaning quote

Does naming my address include all the associated storage spaces?

No. An address does not identify every space entrusted for work. The cellar, lock-up or storage unit must be named with its proposed tasks or exclusion; permission for the flat does not automatically cover all associated annexes.

Can a quote for the cellar establish what cleaning the flat will require?

No. The flat’s condition, materials and requested operations need their own description. Equipment or tasks proposed for the basement do not establish the needs upstairs or make the apartment part of that accepted scope.

Can a closed cellar be included under a general reservation?

No. Without authorised access allowing assessment, its condition and contents remain unconfirmed. It is not presented as an accepted service; the necessary information and separate permission must be established before inclusion.

Why describe the carrying arrangements when there are few belongings?

Quantity alone does not define handling. Stairs, a ramp or the absence of a lift serving the basement may change the resources required; the description relates those arrangements to the tasks actually proposed for the annex.

Can an annex be added after the quote for the flat has been accepted?

Yes, after its access, condition and requested operations have been examined. The addition is described separately and agreed by the authorised person before execution; the original quote does not provide that additional permission.

Does the term extreme cleaning automatically include every treatment?

No. Any treatment is distinguished from the cleaning operations. Decontamination follows assessment where an identified risk warrants a specific protocol; it is not included merely because the request uses a broad service description.

Does the quote guarantee that every material will regain its original appearance?

No. It describes operations and their limits, without guaranteeing habitability, the disappearance of an odour or restoration to the original appearance. An old mark may remain visible and some areas may remain inaccessible.
