Cleaning one corner does not authorise us to work through the flat. A limited agreement is enough to begin the selected task, and it is also the boundary. Will you move or remove my belongings?
We agree any movement needed to reach the surface you have chosen. We do not clear a shelf, reorganise a cupboard or remove possessions simply because it would make cleaning easier. If you do not want an object moved, we explain what remains accessible and keep the work within that limit.
Can a relative arrange cleaning without my agreement?
A relative can make an enquiry, but that alone does not give us permission to clean your kitchen or move your belongings. We agree the practical scope with you before starting. Someone holding the keys or helping with access does not automatically decide which surfaces we may treat or how far the work should extend.
Does “self-neglect” mean you make a diagnosis?
No. It names the type of help someone may be searching for when keeping up with cleaning has become difficult. We discuss the floor, sink or other surface you want cleaned, not your health or personal history. You do not need to explain your circumstances for us to agree a practical task.
Will you explain the visit to my neighbours?
We do not explain to neighbours why we are working in your flat. You decide who is told. Any necessary exchange at a shared entrance stays focused on access. We cannot promise that nobody will notice our equipment or presence, but noticing a visit does not mean receiving an explanation from us.
Does agreeing to one visit mean more visits will follow?
No. We can discuss short, repeated stages, but we return only if you invite us back. Cleaning the kitchen floor does not create permission to clean the bathroom later. Each further stage needs agreement, and you can leave the next step undecided without committing to work elsewhere in the flat.
